You will learn the tricks behind baking a single tier cake and how to cover it with rolled fondant.
Skills include:- tips on baking a celebration cake
- perfect buttercream
- covering boards- carving and shaping sponge
- trimming & skinning
- layering & masking for a covered cake
- rolling out and moulding sugarpaste
- covering & smoothing
- basic sugarpaste/flower paste decorations
- royal icing & sludgeYou will finish with a beautiful single tier cake, decorated to the highest and most professional standard to take home with you. Plus recipe cards and tip sheets for your future reference.
